Growing up in the Eastern Sierras allowed for the chance to be around stunning scenery, and with that came the fascinating animals. I have been an animal lover for as long as I can remember. From owning snakes, lizards, and rodents, to chickens, cats, and dogs it’s easy to say my childhood was filled with marvelous memories and countless laughs. After moving to San Diego 3 years ago, it was challenging making the transition from a house brimming with animals to an apartment complex that was empty. I took it upon myself to head to the local animal shelter and adopt my cat, Lars. That empty void in the apartment was replaced with a animal that has a fun-loving personality. Aside from animals, my life consists of classes in hopes to get into a cardiovascular technology program, traveling every chance I get, and a little beach volleyball here and there.
